I love New Year's Day, because it's so quiet and still after the night before. I usually try and have a quiet New Year's Eve so that I can get up early on the first of January and enjoy the peace. I also love the feeling of a fresh start to a brand new year, I always find it an exciting time for all kinds of new possibilities.
