  • in my opinion -and thats all it is- (before i get people trying to start arguing with me!) most people who dont believe will explain away anything they see which might be paranormal, so to them they have never had an experience where as believers will be much more inclined to explain it as paranormal. also there are people who have had experiences, accepted it but are fearful of admitting it because they dont know how others will react. one more thing is that when i was younger i told my friends mum of some experiences i had had and asked why they happened to me and not others, she told me they come to people they know wont be scared and to people who want to see them. dont know how true that is but its always stuck with me.

  • I think some people are more accepting of the fact that there may be something there - others will deny that they saw anything which they cannot explain. To some close minded people everything can be explained as "a trick of the light" or that the person who saw something made it up/exaggerated.... I think it all has to do with how open minded you are and how much you are prepared to believe that you saw something....
