  • Without appearing to be commenting on his party or it policies I dare say I am all admiration for Tony Blair. I wish him well and hope he reaches the heights hitherto unscaled.
  • Tel in a word - NO, its not often i get passionate about something but this is a man who waged an unprovoked and illegal war in Iraq and lied to the House of Commons for his actions. This war was called against the evidence of the intelligence service MI6, foreign secretary Jack Straw and the wishes of the British people. The threat of the weapons of mass destruction was the constant bogus cry of George Bush and Mr Blair as their justification for the criminal act of invasion and aggression against the innocent people of Iraq. This man should no longer be considered fit to hold any political office in Britain or Europe.
  • I never thought he would, and it looks as if a growing number of EU citizens are coming to the same conclusion. http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,26282851-2703,00.html
  • well, I would rather have him than any of the other candidates. I quite like him actually, I wish he was still PM.
  • The only good thing the Phoney Blurr could become is a corpse. By his twisted notion that what is good for him is good for the country, he probably expects his fellow travellers on the European Gravy Train to reward him for betraying his nation, not only over the Iraq war justification, but also over the referendum on the European Constitution (now thinly disguised as the Lisbon Treaty).
  • At first, I thought well, at least he's British maybe he will have some kind of loyalty to Britain. But no, he will not be a good president and I don't want him. I hated him while he was Prime Minister. He was a truly awful warmongering Prime Minister. He didn't listen to tbe British people then. He won't listen to anybody now. The last thing Europe needs is him as President. He is a snake.
