Why are some Christians dumb enough to believe the "Jesus is the son of God and God himself who died for my sins but was then brought back to life by himself but is still a sacrifice saving my soul" theory?

it's not about how dumb they are. it's about faith. if it says that in the qur'an and they believe the qur'an to be the word of god, then it's really not a problem. many christians believe that jesus rose from the dead. smart people take stock in these ideas. but, then again, faith was never about intelligence.

Do they really? I'd be more concerned why they'd want a supply of young, unsuspecting sexual captives in the first place. That's the dodgy part. Imagine, 10 weeks later, all those females telling you you're lousy in bed, for ever and ever and ever....

Who knows - why do some Christians believe Christ died and came back alive 3 days later? People have to believe some pretty dumb stuff to be religious don't they?

from where I stand they are no more dumber than Christians who believe in a so called God and 12 disciples... its just typical of ALL organised religions in the world to have their followers brainwashed into thinking fairytales and Myths are real

Faith is faith, regardless what the 'promise' is for the afterlife. The belief of one religion is no dumber than the beliefs of another.
