Do you think the balloon incident was staged for publicity? What kind of Parent does this to a child? What should the punishment be?

Yes I do. I wanted to give them a benefit of a doubt, but when I saw the interview with Diane Sawyer, that pretty much made it clear to me. When the 6 year old left because he had to vomit, neither one of the parents got up to go with him. I know if I thought there was a chance my child could have died, I'd be even more overprotective of him and not go parading him around in front of cameras.

It was staged. The parents are money grubbing, publicity seeking losers. I hope they can get Federal charges levied against them.
