Which language is more complex and difficult to learn Chinese or Japanese? I know that a part of the Japanese system writing is derived from Chinese; also they developed their own writing. Answers without any explanations are not welcome.

I'd have more trouble with languages such as Hadza, Sandawe, and Bantu that includes clicks. (Yes, a clicking sound.)
