Why is it that way back in the day people cared more about taking care of each other, and now we care about taking care of ourselves? They had alot less than we do!!

Well, usually the Mother stayed home and cared for the kids. If Granny or Granddad needed a place, the family usually would open their doors. Now with "Rest Homes/Retirement and the dreaded alzheimers, plus both parents work, it's no longer possible.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. That is the great paradox. As we go forth people want to be liked to they are polite, but they are not really caring in a ginuine way. The media has taught us in supple ways not to trust anyone, they will scam you, steal your identity, maybe even murder you. The underlying msg, watch your back and look out for youself 1st.
