lots of things can cause birds to die. Illnesses- heavy metal poisoning, there are some parrot flus that can also cause death. Any type of bacterial or viral infection can lead to death if not addressed right away. using cleaning products around the birds, candels, air fresners, and cooking with teflon pans, feeding them certain foods, and an all seed diet can extremly shorten a birds life. The best thing to do is have the vet to a nucopsy(sp?) to find out why it died.
