My name is Wyn but my mother wanted to name me Susan.

I was born in the late 50's and my classmates all had rather run of the mill names like Mary, Sue and Jane. I took a ton of teasing but I love my name and wouldn't trade it for a common name for any amount of money.

    Dezimae is FINALLY 21

i was almost named a few things.

my dad thought it would be funny, seeing as our last name is March, to name me April May. and then when i filled out things (last name first) it would be March April May.

and then i was born in December, so my mom thought it would be funny to name me Holly Noel.

and then they liked Karissa Danielle. and that was my name, until a week before i was born and my mom say some movie and decided my name should be Courtney instead.

B.fife My honesty makes people angry...

My Mom wanted to name me Maxwell Mitchell but my Father didn't want me growing up being called Madmax so instead it became Michael Morgan...The downside to that is that when I was young the only Morgan who was popular at the time was the actress Morgan Fairchild...it was a Lil' rough having the middle name of a girl back in elementary school...Lol

Yes, and I consider myself very, very fortunate that they chose the name I carry instead. Some familiy members wanted to continue the Sr., Jr., III thing, and thought I should be named "Henry Harrison Horn, III." Oh ... my ... God!

If I was born a girl my name was going to be: Kammy Kay, I am so glad I wasn't born a girl. Also my last name at the time (before I changed it) Started with a K! I told my mom when she told me this "Do you realize that my Initials would have been KKK?" She did know it, but didn't see the problem in that.

Well I was gonna be called the same thing, but they wanted my name spelled.
