The pay for getting their ad shown, so yes they want us, or at least our money. We dont need to pay for much training or auditing before the cost of the ad is paid.

The Google computers which look for the key words in your questions must be finding some connection between your questions and Scientology beliefs. Or may be it is Ph.D in your name that the computer assocites with Scientology. Try changing your name once to verify if the ad appears again!

It's creepy, I get those adverts as well. It must have something to do with targeted advertising, because Scientology attemps to provide people with answers, and we keep asking questions :)
