  • because they do not comprehend the consequences of what they do or say in relation to a sober person. sober people can think ahead in a situation where as intoxicated people only think in that moment .
  • I would also like to add that perhaps it is due to the fac that when a person is inebriated he often finds himself free of inhibitions. So while one may interpret this loss of inhibition to be confidence, I think of it also as a lack of concern for consequences of one's own actions, a characteristic that can be categorized as being headstrong/independent.
  • Because alcohol removes inhibitions. But to really understand exactly how alcohol does that is way off the scope of this forum!
