5/13/09 44-year-old US Army Sgt. from Sherman, Texas is in custody at Camp Liberty in Baghdad after killing 5 US servicemen at a combat stress clinic on Monday. Why wasn't this incident covered like the Ft. Hood shooting? Because a Muslim didn't do it?

Scary, huh? You can look it up on google, yahoo, etc. The question to ask is "Do the police have the duty to protect individuals?" Did you know you cannot sue the police for not coming to you aid? I'm curious then...what are you doing to protect yourself from criminals?

not sure, i guess keep a gun :) or a knife or something to protect myself. i guess its ture you cant rely on anyone but yourself.

I think it's definitely up to the individual to protect themselves. I would take a gun over a knife any day of the week though. I'd prefer to keep a little distance between me and an attacker.

haha good point i would too, actually i would take one of those forest machetes over aknife also, actually the real prefernce would be either a machine gun or a sniper gun. lol

A machine gun is outside the range that most people can pay for. But there are some good reasonably priced guns.
