  • I find that for myself who is a strong christian, I do my best to not let them get to me but rather to let them strengthen myself to not let it bother me. I personally dont like horor movies that often but sometimes they are fun, I do like a good zombie or vampire movie once in a while, and I like to ask myself "what would I do in that situation". +3 ps I do find that in horror movies most priests and christians are complete weaklings,,,it makes a really bad taste in my mouth.
  • Evil in movies is relatively easy to discover. Evil in real life is much much more difficult to detect. "It is the nature of Evil to appear normal and commonplace". -which is why some of the more truly evil folks amongst us are so successful. John Wayne Gacy. Ted Bundy. BTK killer.
  • I suppose on the other hand they might come to expect real life spiritual warfare to have all the visual/environmental effects that happen in the movies.
  • I once watched some kind of supernatural horror movie with some friends whose father was some variety of preacher and he kept pointing out that all the hero had to say was 'in the name of Jesus Christ begone' and we're all, 'dude, we're watching a movie here'. It was like watching a military action movie with a Marine.
