No. They might become your friend, but they will still be a terorist.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D No.
-
Of course not, but maybe he'll be less likely to target you individually if the conversation went well. Terrorists do what they do for many reasons, and usually these reasons are too strong to be influenced otherwise so easily.
-
I think talking nice to a terrorist would to them be seen as a sign of weakness. They would never respect you. A terrorist is a terrorist out of total belief in their cause. Many are driven to this belief from birth and all the kind words in the world is not going to change them.
-
Only if the terrorist wanted to stop being a terrorist in the first place. In this case, wouldn't you only be speaking to the choir?
-
I doubt it. A terrorist has made up his/her mind that what he's doing is for the benefit of society or his community -- being nice to him won't benefit the society/community, so it won't change his behaviour either.
-
You gotta be out of your fucking mind. The only thing terrorists respect are bullets.
-
No! You have to threaten to take away their priveleges (TV, cell phones, internet, etc.). It's the only way to get their attention.
-
After or before you stop his clock?
-
... infinitesimally low probability ... no ...
-
If you try talking nice to a terrorist you deserve to get your ass blown up. If you can manage to save others as well as yourself, that is your priority.
-
It just makes you a target
