I havn't been to a Catholic Mass in many years (since my first communion) and I will be attending one in a week or two. I was wondering will I need Rosary beads for this service? Thanks.

• Actually, something does not have to be biblical to be of the Word Of God. Since you are clearly part of some religion, I will say this, if you read a basic history book, you will find that the Catholic Church was the first (christian) church and that it formed the bible (From divine inspiration from the Holy Spirit, of course). The Catholic Church states that both Sacred Texts and Sacred Tradition in the formation of the soul. The Holy Rosary is part of this Sacred Tradition, given to us from Mary.
  
  I don't mean to chastise you, as I feel I may have done early in my post. However, I think before making a comment, you should inform yourself of the comments you are making, as the rosary is in fact, quite biblical. Could you elaborate as to what is wrong with it?

• Oh, dear me baker, you have it all so wrong. You say "Since you are clearly part of some religion" lol. You don't know me. I am not part of ANY religion. I am A Born Again Christian, as Jesus has commanded us to be, if we are to see the kingdom of heaven. I am a christian. I have recieved The Holy Spirit. I am Saved by The Grace of God. I have eternal life.
  
  I used to be part of SOME RELIGION, I used to be CATHOLIC. I left the catholic religion because of all their faulse teachings and unbiblical traditions. I was lost, but now I am found. Praise be to God.
  
  The catholic religion did not form The Holy Bible. St Peter was not the first catholic pope. Saying the rosary is unbiblical. Being christend as a baby is unbiblical. Calling a priest father, clearly is against The Lord's commands. Confession to a priest is unbiblical. Penance is unbiblical. Rosary beads, crucifixes, statues, holy medals, the stations of the cross ect, are all Graven Immages, The Lord has clearly commanded that we do not have these things. Praying to or through Mary and the saints is unbiblical.
  (I could keep going) but enough for now. Just let me know if you want me to tell you anymore unbiblical traditions of the catholic church.
  
  It is interesting how you say, "The catholic church STATES THAT"...ect. YES, you are right there, the catholic church STATES anything they want people to believe. The sad thing is they have it wrong, so often.
  "The rosary is part of catholic tradition, but it did not come from Mary" and it certainly did not come from Jesus Christ.
  Think about it, TEN hail Mary's to ONE Lords prayer?. The Lord said, "when you pray, pray Our Father Who Art In Heaven".

Tell me, which passage in The Holy Bible says we should say the rosary?, as it is YOU who has claimed that the rosary is infact, quite biblical. Also, why don't you let me know where in The Holy Bible, The Lord's Word, will I find any of the other catholic traditions, I have commented on.

• HA! YOU read your Bible carefully. The prayers used in the Rosary -- "The Our Father" and "The Hail Mary" (found in the Gospel of Luke...when the angel Gabriel announces to Mary that she is going to be Jesus' mother) are both in the Bible.....in the New Testament.
  
  Stay off the Catholic page --- especially if you are here to thump your Bible at us, preach at us, and put us down. Try a little Christian charity .....you f**king fundamentalist! You are more 'mental' than 'fun.'
