Yes and I'm still upset about it. I had a friend who owned an accounting company prepare my tax returns for years. One year the person he had do the return screwed up and didn't take something into account that she should have pertaining to an IRA I had. Got a letter from the IRS months later and I ended up having to pay more money plus interest plus a penalty. That was the last time I trusted anyone to do my taxes for me..the last time. I expected the firm to pay the penalty and interest but they elected not to do it. So I dumped 'em and the following year when they sent me the forms to fill out I called and said I decided to prepare my own tax returns. That was our last encounter. :)
