The only way they can prove it is the same TV, is if they have a written record of the serial number.

YOu cannot claim it after the fact. Good luck on that one.
Technically it is fraud to attempt to claim for the same accident twice. However if there's no way for them to prove it then you should be fine.

You're reading I went to claim my TV about 9 months ago. But my insurance did not cover accidental Breakage, so i changed to cover it...they said i couldnt claim that TV now. I want to now try to claim it, will they remember, or can they prove it is the same TV?

I never gave them any information. the first thing they said was 'oh your not covered for accidental' So i should be able to do it hey?
