Im thinking you want to self-publish a book. Lulu is a reliable self-publishing company but I suggest you might want to look around so you can better decide which self-publishing company best suits your publishing needs.

I published two books through Lulu.com and had no problems and the quality of the books were good. I would recommend their service to others.

The only problems I ever had were due to user error (my error). But some pages on their site don't display well for some reason and THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!! But they're generally good at what they offer, so I say if you're a first time author who's looking to publish so that you can fluff up your MFA portfolio, I say go for it.
