"awesome" seems to be popular now-a-days, but I grew up with "cool" & continue to use it.
Gnarly! and Awesome!
Grooovy! or Square (referring to a cigarette)
I use "awesome", "chillin", "wicked", "cool", "sick".

I still use groovy and I will till I die.

I'm try to bring back tre-awesome. (George Carlin hated tre-anything. But his comedic routine was the impetus for this.)
