Well the lamp uses around 100 to 150 Watts depends on the TV Model most all of the DLP TV's uses a lamp working on 100W to 120W.

I am unable to get closed captioning on my Toshiba 42" DLP TV. It will not work either through the TV menu or the cable box menu. Toshiba says that it is because the closed captioning is not compatible with my cable box. That makes no sense to me.
