  • too be noticed, you have to be dramatic. save your money. a lot of money. rent a really good recording studio. have your material ready to be recorded......studio time is very expensive. out of your best studio recordings, have one or two transferred to cd's. send the cd's to another country...like england radio stations. if you have "that sound", the dj's in england will quickly pick up on it and play your cd. the music papers will pick up most music played. and the rest is history. you will never make a dent in american music, unless you are a hit in another country. the music starts there and returns to america. why? i do not know, but since i have been in the music business for 45 years...thats the way it is. i have been a drummer for many years and have played for many popular recording artists. chet atkins, roy orbison, boots randolph and many more. good luck on your endeavor. be different and you will be noticed and always search for that special song, that special sound......it could happen!
