I am a Christian. For me, it means that I completely, without any kind of reservation, believe that Jesus Christ, a part of the Holy Trinity, is God - who became a man so that humanity would have a chance at Salvation - because He sacrificed Himself for us. He took our punishment, and in doing so, enabled us to be 'saved.' Many people do not believe what I do. They do have the right to believe as they want and disagree with me.

For me, it means to go to God with all that I have and to put my hope in him and not myself. To love Him with all my heart and soul and mind. To sing for him because He gave me the gift to use for Him and others. To follow Him in all that I do and give Him the Glory for all I do. To love others and Forgive others. To have mercy on others and be thankful for the Grace he has given me to do these things. To remember others and do as Has me to do through His Heart. To ask for help when I feel the storms of life coming my way. To just Love Him for who He is.

It means experiencing true peace and joy when you accept the Lord in your heart. It's freedom to know that HE's in control and that you can trust Him to handle things. He saves us, redeems us, loves us, cherishes us even though we are not worthy of that. He takes us as we are, where we are and creates a new person if we let Him. It means handing over control and trusting Him to carry you and lead you. OH it means so much that I know I'm not doing a good job explaining it!!

It means that God is not My Heavenly Father. He has a name, and HE is I AM. Jesus came here to tell us about His Father. God is no one. God is a text book title for an unknown being. God is a symbolic word for a name few people wants to know.
