Help answer this question below.
The 'top half' that runs away is an actress without legs who, apparently, is quite well known. The screaming 'spectators' have been hired for the shoot.
All that trick takes is an actor with no legs, and a midget. Seen it done before.
Nay there were a prop.. but it was fun to watch Thanks Mr. Lion! ☺
LOLOL Wow I almost jumped out of my seat!! Lol no

I think the first one you showed was trickery, and it wasn't even honest trickery. A magician is someone who doesn't use 'unfair' methods, like video editing and so forth. Some of today's most revered magicians are actually frauds. As for the second clip, if you accept that the program did not collude with the magician and use editing (and I wouldn't bet on that), then it was an amazing trick. I have no idea how it was done, but then that is the desired outcome.
There is no such thing as magic. Those conjurers who try to make people believe they do magic, like Uri Gellar, are just frauds - but they tend to do fairly well out of the gullible. Those who admit they do sleight of hand and misdirection are the honest ones, and they can be amazing.

What do you think about David Copperfield?
by Lion Heart sleeps on June 28th, 2009
I think he is a great illusionist. The various accidents that have happened to him and to others show that many of his props are completely real. But even Copperfield, I believe, has been guilty of manipulation of videos. For example, his Statue of Liberty illusion. I believe that from the viewpoint of the audience, that illusion was completely authentic. But the helicopter shots, I believe, were fake. Otherwise why would he bother to have the audience see everything through a narrow space?
Sometimes magicians use video editing as a way of 'heightening' their illusions. I can't remember his name, but one good example was someone who levitated from the pavement. He gradually lifted from the ground, and his audience gasped as he rose several feet in the air. It subsequently came out that the only 'real' bit of the illusion was when he first started to rise. The audience reactions were fake, and the subsequent shots of him rising were done by means of wire and crane.
