If their coming to my house, they understand that I have 4 kids. I clean the bathrooms, and kitchen, because thats were they will see. kids clean the foyer, and close all the bedroom doors.

I entertain my guests in the private dining room of a nice restaurant and NEVER at home. No problems!

The kitchen, bathroom and living room. The rest of the house can be isolated.

The entrance because first impressions last a lifetime, the bathroom, and I'd pick up all the crap around the dining room and sitting room. The rest does't matter because guests shouldn't be snooping around anyway!
