No, a blind score is never counted in a person's statistics, it is simply a method of filling in for him while he is absent; a person's average for handicap purposes should not include anything but actual games that he physically bowled otherwise the system will be very skewed and unfair.

Take this from a person who has been bowling for 15 years in leagues. A BLIND SCORE (I use caps because there's no bold face) is a score used ONLY to represent a vacancy and is NEVER used to figure any bowler's average. The score you're thinking of is an ABSENT SCORE and even still that score doesn't figure into the average.
