Why is it considered normal and healthy to have relationships with pretend religious entities, but considered insane to have relationships with imaginary friends who are not recognized by popular religion?

It all depends on numbers. If you alone hear voices, you are insane, but if you hear voices and millions agree with you, you are a person of faith.

It depends, doesn't it, on if you consider the religious entities "pretend". Billions don't think so. Does that make those who don't believe in a religious entity insane?
