When I was fifteen at a high school dance, I was grabbed by a cop and thrown up against a wall. He frisked me, but didn't find anything and sent me on my way. I found out later, that he did find something, and kept it for himself.

With so much of terrorism around here in India, police check posts where all traffic must stop for getting their vehicles has become something of a routine. Sometimes the line of vehicles waiting to be checked keeps growing longer as the police makes a more thorough check of every vehicle - when there is a terror alert. And I have to wait for my turn. But like everyone else in the line, I too don't complain or call this police harassment. If we could do away with terror attack with our spending a little time in the hot sun and submit our vehicles being checked, I would always co-operate rather than complain.

Yes, once. This cop kept pullin me over for nothing. He pulled me over 3 times in a week. I was 6 months pregnant. He always asked me to get outta the car and when I asked for what he'd change the subject. Once he even had some plain clothed dude with him. When I asked who he was the other guy walked away. It was just strange.
