  • I have it, but don't use it much. I find most foods tasty enough without adding extra salt. A few that I do salt are boiled eggs and cooked potatoes.
  • I don't know. Foods without a little salt taste bland.
  • I use lawrys seasoning salt when cooking, but I don't use table salt. I also use sometimes garlic mixed with sea salt in a grinder - it has a wonderful flavor and smell.
  • I have salt.
  • No my cousin doesn't either, i feel so bad she always sends food over to us and it just sucks there is no flavor.... When i cook i don't put salt in any of my food i use enough seasoning to give it that kick and if you want to add salt then go ahead
  • Our family doesn't use salt for a seasoning at all. Heck, look at the sodium level in canned chicken broth of over 800 grams of sodium. There is already too much salt in our foods.
  • I always have plenty of salt.
  • I have tonnes of it!
  • I have several different kinds of salt on hand at all times. I think Americans (and probably most of the rest of the Western world) consume too much sodium. And I think the key to avoiding too much is moderation. I use salt when cooking, but I don't use many processed foods so my overall sodium consumption is probably fairly low. We don't use a salt shaker, but keep a saltcellar (with kosher salt) on the table from which people may take a pinch to crush and sprinkle if need be. I'm an avid cook and I find that salt is actually necessary for some things. Ever try baking a saltless loaf of bread? It is bland, flat and vile-tasting. A *small* sprinkle on a vine-ripe tomato just explodes the tomato's natural flavor. And, of course, french fries without salt? Why bother?
  • I dont know...but I am never without salt in the house.
