No. It is bad enough right now that most adults know so little about government and politics and are allowed to vote, adding children will not improve the process or results and will just increase the costs.

Well seeing as how most of us (or so it seems) use the same criteria as a child would to elect a president, why the hell not. I'm not sure they couldn't do any worse than we have.

No, while children do have idealistic views on life, they are not unfortunatly sensible working solutions to the problems faced today.

No..why put that on their shoulders? Some probably make more mature and better informed choices than some adults, but that will come soon enough.

No, but learning the importance of voting in the "real world" and what that means should be discussed more in school. Student Council is a great starting place, but really isn't enough.

No, that is why they are children and we are adults. In theory, we understand how the political system works, and so can make a wise choice. Yes, yes. I did say in theory.
