i believe all people are born equal, but they can make themselves better or worse than those around them. it's all about choices.

It depends on how you view the word better. I don't think how society has divided each other up in different classes based on their income levels makes someone better if they are in one or the other classes. I do think that there are people that try to make society progress: technologically, socially, artistically, philosophically, etc. I think those people have a special place among us. They should be held in higher esteem and we should all strive to be more like those people. Those types of people come from all walks of life. Who knows, they could be your neighbor. So mow their yard, give them a pie, take them out to dinner, thank them.
