Here are a lot of MY favorite sad love songs or break-up songs: "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart"--Al Green version "All By Myself"--Eric Carmen "End of the Road"--Boyz II Men "Title and Registration", "Lack of Color", "405", "Photobooth", etc;--Death Cab "Boats and Birds"--Gregory and the Hawk I always thought the Ryan Adams version of "Wonderwall" was a sad song even though it was about love. "Tonight"--Stars "Nothing Better"--Postal Service "Blue in the Face"--Alkaline Trio "Fast Car"--Tracy Champman "Cry"--Angie Aparo "Ever the Same"--Rob Thomas [I'll also say "Halo" and "Elevator" by Pussy Cat Dolls to mix it up a bit] (a lot of these are break up songs, but most of my favorite songs are sad love songs and break up songs...yeah)
