PETA are doing more and more stupid, attention grabbing stunts to publicize their views. I think they have gone too far, and instead of taking them seriously, we now just think that it is PETA at it again.

I'm sick of them throwing red paint on old ladies wearing furs, they need to go throw red paint on someone like Shug Knight while he is wearing a fur and see what happens. Of course they would never do that because they are cowards who only pick on people that can't or won't fight back and those that can they try to intimidate through courts and garbage like that. I am all for treating animals well, but they are a bunch of Hollywood wackjobs who need to STFU. Were one of their members to ever come to me in a steak house and chastise me for eating meat, I would need a new fork due to mine being lodged in their eye.

I think they're a bunch of nuts and they should spend their money to actually help animals in need instead of trying to pay off bands and cities to change their names. A few years ago, I ALMOST joined PETA. The very day I was going to send them a check, I got something in the mail from them saying they were trying to convince the city of Hamburg, Germany to change it's name to Veggie Burg. They were going to pay them a hundred thousand dollars or some outrageous sum that would've bought a great deal of education, pet food, or even property for wildlife habitat. They really need to change their tactics.
