My ex best friend and I are both artists, but I always held in the fact that her art was appaling. Then one day she said she wanted to sell a piece and I lost it and told her no one would ever buy it because it was all sh*t! She hasn't talked to me since. She has also never sold one piece.

All too often.

Quite often. Since some of the people I work with are proof that we are a total equal opportunity employer (we do not discriminate based on age, race, sex, religion, or apparently physical or mental ability to do the job) its difficult to hold it all in (for my own good since those same people are inevitably the brown nosers). Outside of work at times I can be a bit too blunt, particularly since I'm often asked for financial advice, for example: "How can I cut my expenses?" Usually that can be more accurately translated to: "Tell me how I can still be an irresponsible buffoon with my money and yet not spend as much!" Anymore if I tell someone what they need to do in that regard and I get the de riguer "I can't do that"; I just stop then and there. Its pointless to argue with someone who is unwilling to tighten the belt a bit and expects savings to appear magically for them.
