  • I would be livid if things got ruined in my house, and if it happened everyday, someone would be dead! If a child is taught respect for other people, and the property of other people, it isn't a problem - they don't mess with stuff that isn't theirs to mess with.
  • Carpets!....The hoover comes out at least twice a day! ;)
  • My ex and I had five of those lil monsters. We decided early on that we would never buy anything of true value as long as they were little, unless we could lock it up. It is, after all, their house too. Seemed to work. : )
  • If you are watching your children and teaching them about respect for other people and their property you do not have things ruined everyday. But just like adults, kids can have accidents as well.
  • Because they love/care for their child more than the stuff that gets ruined.
  • Sometimes you need a little more structure and constant supervision. The problem comes in that parents sometimes have to constantly work to make money, making it hard for them to watch their kids constantly. But its worth it in the end, I hear
  • Thankgod i only ever had one child because im just the same and get really stressed with mess but my daughter is 12 so dosent really make mess ,but i also think its what you allow your child to do , i personally never used to let her run wild in my house and always kept my eye on her but i have friends who let their kids run wild in the house and just sit there while they draw on the walls ,empty the cupboards ect lol.
