How is it fair for a woman to expect your attention when she has nothing to occupy your attention? nothing to talk about, figure out, or do... she just wants your undivided attention. how can that possibly be reasonable?

Is it unreasonable to enjoy just sitting together sometimes? I don't think I should have to figure out something to accomplish every time I want to spend time with my boyfriend. Having his attention is important, even if I don't come up with an excuse to merit it. Sometimes, it means much more for him to sit and hold me than for us to discuss or do something together. At that point, I am getting his attention just because I'm me, not because I'm doing something that requires him to pay attention. Besides, if we're talking or doing something, I can't possibly have his exclusive attention because he has to focus on the conversation or activity.

If you figure that out, please tell me. Sometimes when you've been hanging out with a girl all day/week, you just want to get on a computer instead of stare at a wall just for the sake of sitting next to them. Luckily my girlfriend goes to sleep on my lap from time to time and I get on the computer while she does that. Best of both worlds.

You an find a hobbie to do together, maybe learn a new language, or how to build something, etc. Find things to do as a team, then she will have more interest. -
This is how taking advantage of chivalry has clouded our minds. Anything we do that opposes a woman's point of view is considered being an asshole or being rude and not a gentleman. I personally think it is kind of selfish, some women ask for too much attention, it's like having a kid. If we started feeding them with a spoon we would start getting child support from their parents.
