Yes, I used to do it often when I was younger. The last one I sent in was for this little Special K thing, that counts the steps you take.

it was when i was still very young... our mom collected cereal tops (forgot what they were for) and we took them to the company's office and they gave us two bowls complete with saucers and tablespoon, all matching. they were cute, and me and my brothers used them for eating cereal in for years. now we outgrew them :p

I remember sending in boxtops for a magnifying glass. I looked at bugs with it!

I send my kids to school with the boxtops. Since they wear uniforms to school, the prize is usually a free dress day where they can wear whatever they want. My kids always want to wear Camo.

I still have my official Tony the Tiger autographed baseball I got about 20-25 years ago. Recently, I ordered a Guitar Hero t-shirt for my daughter from the back of an Apple Jacks box and it should be arriving in the next few weeks.

About 65 years ago...a space ship ring that you could look into a little hole and see all kinds of sparkly things goin' on. Mom had to think about letting me do it, though...stamps were 3 cents, I think. She was good.
