Did you know Bob Ross was a Master Sargent in the Air Force?
After seeing a few of his shows its difficult for me to picture him as a Master Sargent.

Master Sargent is E-7. That's equivalent on paper to Gunnery Sargent in the Marine Corps., but I think I agree with your point that the (ch)Air Force, in general, doesn't equate to the Marine Corps. -

Back when I was in the Navy I heard the Air Force had the best schools of any service. Regardless, I would never have thought of Bob Ross as being military AT ALL!
