What are things one can do to make a room more romantic? i know dim lights, incense and stuff, but it feels like its lacking something.

Soft music playing.... message oils, strawberries and some chocolate.

Chocolate covered strawberries (if you like that kind of thing and/or aren't allergic). Very easy to make - buy the baker's chocolate that you microwave, then dip and let set.

I have some paintings I have picked up at auctions..not too expensive, that depict some romantic scenes,..a gondola in Venice...and a seascape and fishing village from Portugal. Other paintings that I have collected over the years. They are great conversation pieces and all form a theme. All very relaxing and peaceful.
