I know that if I told the truth, they wouldn't believe me, so I simply tell them nothing. Then at least my conscience is clear, with no lie
-
It really depends on the scenario. Most of the time, I keep on insisting it is the truth. Other times, I'll just change the subject if possible, or even just stop talking to them.
-
you know they say the best lie is the truth.. so why bother lying?
-
Ill tell the truth but if asked repeatedly because of not believing me Ill just tell them to leave me alone. As long as I know Im telling the truth to hell with what everyone else thinks.
-
I'm used to not-being-beleived at most things I say, so... it wouldn't make much difference... I'll keep telling the truth, anyway...
-
If no one believes me, and it is not a serious situation, I just forget about it. Live and learn.
-
I will take a step back and guide them to the truth, one tiny bit at a time.
-
Tell the truth anyway, it is always the best thing.
-
The truth will set you free...one way or another
-
Tell 'em the truth and if they don't believe it, I ask 'em if they'd rather have a heaping helping of bulls**t instead.
-
Tell the truth and be damned if they do not wish to believe you that is their loss . You will feel hurt but it will pass and if they do not believe you they are not very good or supportive friends or family, you can probably do without them
-
Tell the truth and try not to say "I told you so"
-
Tell thr truth for sure, If you do that regardless of how bitter they are and unable to believe you. YOU will know you told the truth, you can walk away knowing it is their fault for not believing you.
-
Go on a Rampage.
-
Rephrase the truth in a way that it is similar to the lie that they want to hear.
-
I know exactly how you feel. I told one person my truth. Im sure they believe i am lying. It takes so much to tell the truth, and for what?
-
No. Still I will tell the truth, it doesn't matter whether some one believe me or not.
-
You should tell the truth anyway.

I am a very honest and hard working person, and my boss and supervisors are continually blaming me for everything they prejudge me and gang up on me. I tell the truth always, and then i am accused of being aggressive because i stand up for myself. Its just me against a gang of people and I am forever being hurt. I was always a sensitive person, and now I am super sensitive, because they would rather stitch me up then believe the truth. they have one rule for me and one for the rest of the staff and their pets. How do I cope with this???????????????????//

Just tell the truth!! Sometimes its tempting to tell half truths(lieing) to people, because you know they wont believe you when you tell the whole truth. But, do always tell the truth!! There is nothing to gain when you lie (except in court ofcourse(=P)And if you think its ok to lie and have no sane voice in your head named consciousness that tells you right from wrong, your as sick as a nutcracker...!! Trust is the most important ingredient to make a relationship of any kind work. If people don't believe you, they are not worthy to be in your life. Stay with the truth and dont built trust with lies!! Adventually that cardhouse collapse and than you have to suffer the consequences. If you lie to others, you lie to yourselfs(vice versa) Be honest to your self and give people a chance to believe you, otherwise you give people automaticly a reason not to.And its a matter of time for you will be eating the bitter fruit of your dishonesty. Whether someone believes me or not, I still have to tell the truth, especially if it's something I did wrong. I am the one who has to live with myself for lying to someone. I won't live like that, period. +5

Most people will believe an unbelievable truth when it is well sandwiched between two believable lies.
-
If no one believes anyway, what difference does it make? ;-)
