Briefs or thongs
I have been given briefs but i dont know if to wear briefs or thongs for when i am cheerleading which is best

I know this is a joke question. No school, in its right mind, would allow their cheerleaders to wear thongs under their cheerleading uniforms. Their cheerleading would be X-Rated.

I'm confused. I have 2 daughters and both were NCA all-american high school cheerleaders. They had to wear special cheerleading/dance "briefs" that were heavy duty and matched their uniforms. This was standard from elementary school on up to college. You can find some here. http://www.dance4less.com/100_cheerleading_separates.htm These are designed specifically for this purpose. There is no choice in the matter. The idea of wearing thongs is laughable unless you just like exhibiting your rear in public and getting your team disqualified. Either way, you won't be on the team for very long.

Cheerleading is all about being together, so wear whatever the team is wearing.

Uh..the uniforms already have undies. They match the uniforms and cover the "naughty bits" quite effectively. They very idea of wearing a thong while cheerleading is ridiculous and downright trashy.

Thongs! And, please, do all the cheering in front of the opposite team cause if you cheer for your side, they'll be losing each and every single game!

Wow, talk about a cry for attention question. Sheesh. Anyone who's ever actually BEEN a cheerleader is just laughing their butt off with this question. You're obviously not a cheerleader. "Should I wear a thong in my sexy little fantasy cheerleader outfit so my @$$ will hang out like I don't know what I'm doing??" *innocent giggle with batting eyelashes* Dude, please. Hmmm. As a former model, I vote Thong, enthusiastically. For sure, you will have bloomers (pantaloons, etc) and so will everyone else. The question is if you want to have the annoying panty line underneath your bloomers. In my opinion, a thong is preferable, as you get full coverage from most bloomers. Is your involvement in cheerleading mainly athletic or social? If you don't move around as much, it would be better for photos with a thong. But perhaps briefs are better for cheerleaders who move around more?

I wear briefs underneath my cheerleading briefs to avoid panty lines. I have to be careful that my underwear doesn't show, but it is comfortable.
