No,I don't. There's too much diversity among cultures, political systems, and nations throughout the world to ever have a one-world government. I could see a world war that destroys civilization as we know it today a more likely event.

the goal of a One World Government/New World Order has been a plan implemented long ago and is still being sought. Why? Because greed is what has always made those in power wish to remain in power. Amshel Rothschild (one of the richest men, who's family still controls much money and power in the world with a bloodline mired in corruption, politics, secret societies and worse.) said "let me control and issue a nation's currency and I care not who makes it's laws". Men like this have sought to ensure their bloodlines stay in power and that the world would be at their behest. The Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Bush's, Kennedy's and many others have long histories in banking, politics, war profiteering and such. Do a little reading about some of these people, their bloodlines and the organizations they started and have been involved in. I think a lot of people would be shocked to know Bush's family had Nazi ties. IT will soon become clear that those in power today were groomed to be there, it was not chance, it was not the decision of the "free" people, it was not luck..it was all finely orchestrated how THEY want it to be. Why would they want it to be that way? Power..money and power...nothing more. An old saying goes "kill a man, you're a murderer, kill many and you're a conquerer, kill them all and your a god" well that's true but why kill everyone when you can make them your slaves and still be a god? That's their goal...and the lie is so old and so intricate with so many layers no one can know the real truth anymore...that's how they want it. So why a NWO? With the powers that be no longer needing to uphold the facade that people in a democracy make the laws they will continue to unify the nations of the world..again under the illusion that it is to make peace...and then roll out a new world order, with a new world government and a new set of rules and laws to follow. One of the biggest advantages they will have is being able to take over the web completely..no longer will you be able to get information from another country that is censored in your own country etc. Information and ideas so commonly accessible as well as freedom of thought and speech on the web will be squashed. Hehe. You can't even find a unified government in a single country, let alone the whole world -- every government is a complex power struggle. The players come and go, and of course there are always some who want absolute power, but so far no government has survived more than a generation or so even on a regional level. I pity the poor sucker who thinks he can run the whole world.

Possibly. Perhaps humanity will mature enough, assuming we survive long enough, to do so. I find it ironic that so many denounce such a concept, yet the self same folks think that they'd do a better job.
