Either. As long as it's not a situation of fact VS belief. That's why religious debates never finish, because it's fact vs belief. Simply not possible. You can tell a person that the blue pen is blue as many times as you want, but if they believe it is red, you can't change their mind. Shits me.

beliefs. i feel like they can go more places. if it's not factual information, no one can truly "win" people just express their views back and forth. and sometimes people even change their beliefs as the result of a good debate.
