  • My city charges 1.25% sales tax on top of the state's 7% tax.
  • 0% on top of the 0% the state demands...good old NH...we make up for it in property taxes.
  • Taxes are collected differently here but nationwide VAT ( value added tax) a complete misnomer , is charged at 17.5%. I think fuel meaning heating fuel is less but that is because the cost of any kind of fuel here is becoming prohibitive.Some childrens clothes are exempt but that is changing This Government has completely taxed the country out of sight,all by back door taxes In America you think Tony Blair is great LOL I am pretty sure you would not get the same reaction from too many Britains or people that have visited the country and seen just how expensive it is to be here
