I'm all stressed to hell.
-
I have a home, they don't have to pay for a home.
-
Not very much. It would not be difficult for me to lose the battle and join the homeless. I do not have much of a financial cushion. Ok, basically none.
-
No difference.I've to pay the rent for two accomodations.
-
I'm warm, and they're cold. I can look all good posting about how I like to give them my spare change, then go to my warm apartment and feel good about myself. They can't do that. It's a sick world.

-
The grace of God, otherwise it could be me that was homeless. It doesn't mean I'm better, just that my circumstances in life have been different.
-
i have a home, yo.
-
Honestly? The fact that I'm not homeless is probably the biggest and only difference...you never know what a person's situation really is or why they're in the position they are. I'm aware of homeless people who work, but can't get or can't afford housing.
-
I own my own house free and clear and they're probabbly sleeping on the street in the winter. There but for the grace of God.......
-
They have more money then me. XD

I am fortunate to have a roof over my head, food in my belly and a job, and he/she is not. In God's eyes, there is no difference, for equally, we are both His children.
-
2 years. We went out in high school and he's homeless now.
-
Choices and circumstances.
-
I don't have to worry about freezing to death tonight, I am not hungry tonight, I have more than I need, they have nothing. :)
-
Thankfully I am now NO LONGER homeless. I am blessed to have a place to live, clean clothes to wear, income, food to eat and a fairly safe life. Most people do not think about the fact that they are really 1 paycheck or 1 disaster away from being homeless themselves. It took me being homeless last year and left with NOTHING to really realize how blessed I was.
-
I'm not homeless
-
I have a home to go to and a job,but we should always look out for each other we are humans and we share this place we call home earth so the only thing we need to do is help the homeless and be thankful that we have a place to call home because it can be taken away just as fast as it came to us, god bless us all.Homeless or not.
-
Creed from The Office puts it this way: "The only difference between me and a homeless man is this job. I will do whatever it takes to survive... like I did... when I was a homeless man."
-
A home and a job.
-
I'm homeless but I pay rent every month. I'm homeless cos I can't afford a home.
-
i think there is no difference,I would never judge a person on the street, that is GODS JOB, CAUSE THE NEXT DAY IN THIS BAD ECOMOMY, AND THINGS CHANGING SO MUCH, I MAY BE STANDING IN THE SALVATION ARMY FOR A HOT MEAL, RIGHT ALONG BESIDE THE HOMELESS.
-
A paycheck or two...

-
they are out there and i,m in here.
-
two paychecks. That is what they say the average person is only two paychecks away from homelessness.I used to volunteer at a sheletr and I was suprised at how "normal" the homeless looked. I had expected them to look like the media depiction but I was shocked when I saw a man in a three piece suit. I later found out he had lost his job the same day he lost his wife and kids in a freak car accident-he just lost his way.
-

A homeless person knows to appreciate the little things in life, and takes nothing in his/her life for granted.

-

-
I am blessed to have a home, job and food to eat. In 1 day that could all be gone.
-
A wrong choice of parents. A mental illness. A bottle of booze. A nite spent hi. A taste for gambling. A deal too far. Must be many differences, most only small and many not in our control. But just a few, its a personal choice, at least in spring, summer and fall.
-
I busted my ass for years, saved my money, didn't get drunk every night, do drugs or think the world owed me a living.
-
I'M RENTING A HOME AND HAVE MONEY FOR EVERYTHING.

-
I have a home and they do not.+4
-
Currently the fact that I paid rent on the first and consequently I have a place to live is the only difference. If I don't come up with something by the first there might be no difference at all. So far things always work out when I need them to, hopefully that streak will continue.
-
I have job security, 100% medical coverage, a place to live rent/morgage free, free college education and at least 4 hot meals a day for free. Man joining the military was a great idea!
-
paycheck
-
Nothing, we could all be there. I was at one time.
-
About $750,000. +3

That's a funny question. I guess the difference between me and a homeless person is that I didn't lose hope in providing for my self and working hard to get somewhere, where ever it may be. I don't understand homeless people, unless they have mental issues. In the same time, cost of living is not easy, and the medical system is a ripp off. It's easy for people to think that god's grace is keeping them safe, when in fact, better people have not lived to be as lucky. Life is a game of luck and we have different start points. The rest is motivation and your mind. Emmanuel Matityahu

My cardboard box has electricity.

Ahhh, such a very fine line. Especially in this economy and if you don't have family, could be a possibility for all, I guess. So...not too much!
-
