Not true... There are many missionaries there and they work hard to bring words of the Lord to all. May not be enough missionaries or money but there are few brave people there.

It was pushed onto many people, because it was thought that it would save the souls of them. Nowadays that's against the rules, everybody gets a say in their belief.

Pope Benedict is a liar and don't forget he was until comparatively recently the head of the modern day Inquisition, so it's not that surprising.
