"OLD FOLKES?"

It really depends on the person. A lot of the popular kids were failures at life and a lot of the looser have become quite successful. Most of members of both groups simply turned out to be average.

I was hated and ended up being very successful, despite my degree not saying "Harvard" on it. I graduated a 3.9 GPA, and have found great success (Years after leaving high school and declaring myself to be an Honorary High School drop-out). As for the other students at that school, and how they did in life? Don't know, don't care.

The nerds, who were very unpopular, did the best of all. Not only did they get the best paying jobs, they also got the beautiful spouses, homes and cars. They became Executives, Movie producers, and High Tech entrepreneurs. The Jocks and cheerleaders did worst. Though they were popular back then, they are now alcoholics, broken down laborers, housewives.

It turned out to be a mix. Some popular kids turned out to be successful, and some of them turned out to be losers. And some of the unpopular kids turned out to be very successful, and some not so successful. I think more unpopular kids turn out to be successful than the cool kids. That's because they felt disadvantaged, so they had to work twice as hard to overcome those negative feelings. They ultimately reaped the benefits of their struggles.

Just had my 15 year reunion. I have to say that the popular jocks and cheerleaders are all now living in trailers, working menial jobs, balding, wrinkled and looking pretty rough. On the other hand one or two people not so popular had gone on to do some interesting things. Luckily for me I was one of the ones that had better things to do then go see a bunch of people I couldn't wait to get away from in school, so I got pics and updates online and skipped the sad event.

Wow, we're talking 49 years ago. It appears as tho many of the male athletes have been successful in various careers. Some of the scholars have also done well. I know this only because I watch the alumni page on my high school site. But that probably accounts for only 50 or so of our 700+ graduating class. The majority have no doubt gone on to lead normal lives-pretty much on the same path that they were in high school.
