I'm not sure if you're talking about the Obama Spider-man comic book but I'll respond as if that was your question. I don't like how Obama is already being presented as a hero before he has actually done anything. His bandwagon is quite large. Let's see if he can actually do anything before we label him a hero.
As a non-American I don't think any of the Presidents in the 20th century were "heroes". As Noam Chomsky said, all of the US Presidents since 1945 could have been prosecuted for war crimes under the Nuremberg laws.

It seems that Obama is just a McGuffin in the comic, not a player. So if this is to make a precedent it would be the precedent of using the name of a famous person to get publicity for a comic.
That is nothing new. It has been going on for years.

At the rate Obama's darling taxpayer-financed "green" companies are cratering, aren't you glad he's not picking your retirement stocks?

You're reading What do you think about these new John McCain/ Barrack Obama comic books? Do you think they'll continue after the election and be the precident for presidents? Presidential Superheroes?

That's all very true. I'm not American either. I'm not suggesting they are actual superheroes - I just wonder about the idea of them being marketed this way.
