1993 Ford Explorer 4X4 Automatic. I have noticed that the lights on the 4x4 button controls are on and dose not want to shut off. But they no longer apear on the dash,4x4 dose not seemed to be working. will this cause damage if in 4x4 high when driving

    4X4 high or low is bad on the street all the time because that truck comes stock with locking diffs

    Driving your vehicle in 4x4 high is OK. It is designed for road use (such as adverse driving conditions). You may , however, want to get this checked out soon as your gas mileage will be reduced by using 4 high.
