The people here are very rude and inconsiderate. Questions barely ever get an answer. They say it's not for the points but yet why would someone sit for hours on here if they weren't trying to rack up points and be the "big dogs" on here. More of the silly questions get answered than real ones that people need an answer too. Also, if someone posts a question and you think it's dumb or worded wrong then don't answer it and be a smart alec find another one you do like and answer that one. People get mad when they are down rated but it's not for points!! I think everyone on here is fooling themselves. I bet if ab took off the point system these folks wouldn't be on here all damn day everyday trying to "help" others. Yahoo answers is not for points it's for helping others and we get an answer on our questions!!! Don't worry I will not read your answers I will never log onto ab again... unless bin laden put a gun to my head and made me do it. I have given ab and it's user a chance many times and frankly they make me sick! Have fun wasting time on here!

    • Yahoo Answers isn't for points??? Look again. Or do you wear shades when you go there? It is for points, which are awarded in a very odd fashion.
At least here the points are by popular vote and you can understand how the majority feel, and also how individuals feel by the comments they leave. If you don't like this site and think YA is the best, then go there and stop trying to convince anyone. We are all capable of making up our own minds.

    • yahoo fan, excuse my language, but you don't know s**t. I asked and answered questions here for almost two years BEFORE AB implemented a points system. So did hundreds of other people. Your assumptions - "why would someone sit for hours on here if they weren't trying to rack up points and be the "big dogs" on here." and "I bet if ab took off the point system these folks wouldn't be on here all damn day everyday trying to "help" others." are complete hogwash. You come in here and make snap judgments that don't reflect reality and spout off as though you know what you're talking about, but you know what? People are laughing at your ignorance. You're like an annoying little dog that yaps all damn day. Scurry on back to yahoo and don't pester us again. Now, shoo!

    • <grin> Thank GOD!!! I was gonna hoof it on over to yahoo if someone hadn't recognized my subtle bid for comment points!! I didn't really want to leave AB, but being the points whore that I am, I had no other option <snicker>. On a serious note, "no points for comments" is exactly why I chose to write what I did in a comment box - not as an answer. I knew what I wanted to say and I wanted to say it without accusations of gratuitous points farming, since yahoo fan stated he/she/it wasn't going to read the answers. Maybe he/she/it will read the comments.

    • I shouldn't imagine that kind of activity is particularly high on Osama's list of priorities.

    • I'm just perplexed at the idea our Yahoo fan thinks this is good publicity for their site. I mean, if this is a reflection on how the users behave and act over there as well as the type of user Yahoo attracts then I'd much rather stay here.

    • Imagine taking the time to set up an account, choose a name, pick an av, read answers and then leave something like this. What kind of an idiot does that? It's not like coming up to people in the real world an overhearing something and speaking up, this took effort. It's beyond me.
