  • In comparison to how much money other's make off of their talent, I guess it's fair, but I agree with you that the salaries are ridiculous. I can't believe people will actually argue over contracts not being high enough, when they're already millions. I think it'd be great if there was a law saying anyone can receive any amount for payment, but anything above $1million each year must be used to better their community or the world in some way. It gets so sickening when people feel there's nothing better to do with their money then hoard it all in the form of twenty cars and three mansions, etc. The money could be put to much better use. Our countries entire national debt could be paid off easily if everyone that could afford it chipped in.
  • Look at how much the franchises are making off of their talents, yes they are worth that much. Supply and Demand my friend. Anything is worth only as much as someone is willing to pay for it.
  • If people don't want movie stars and athletes to make as much as they do, then they need to stop watching movies and athletic events. Yes, teachers, cops and firemen should make more than they do, but we are the ones that provide the billions of dollars to pay the stars and complain about the taxes that pay public service/teachers.
  • They make whatever you're willing to pay to go see them. Their self-importance is comical to me, especially the actors. "Awards season" just cracks me up, that they sit around telling each other how awesome they all are and pretending to be someone else, and yet the sheeple just suck that shit up like their lives are so great.
  • i think they pay them too much too
